TESTAR DIVISION can offer and supply M1 Star™ EBG and MBG plug gauges with 0,6mm (0,0236") distance between contacts axis and the top of the nosepiece. This solution is particularly suitable for special blind bores.

M1 Star™ MBG with Pilot Cone, with Double Entry Groove or without Front Chamfer.
The wide set of M1 Star™ MBG Dedicated Solutions encompasses now also plug gauges with specially-shaped nosepiece for specific requests:
- with pilot cone for automatic applications, where hole position can vary, helping to reduce the possibility of accidental damage to the front of the nosepiece;
- with double entry groove for measurements in deep discountinuous bores;
- without front chamfer in case of very short workpieces

M1 Star™ EBG/MBG with long nosepiece
The M1 Star™ EBG and MBG plug gauges are now available also with a nosepiece longer than standard. The long nosepiece helps to guide the bore gauge when measuring deep bores, avoiding inclination errors.

M1 Star™ EBG/MBG with DLC coating
The M1 Star™ EBG and MBG plug gauges are now available also with nosepiece covered in DLC (Diamond Like Carbon). They are a cheaper alternative to versions with carbide-bar inserts and will increase the life of the plug gauge when components are made of abrasive or soft material (i.e. cast iron, titanium, aluminum) and minimizes the friction and the wear of the nosepiece (automatic applications).

The M1 Star™ EBG and MBG plug gauges are now available also to measure the ouside diameter of internal hubs on trasmission components (for example: sprochet clutch, disc carrier, clutch modules, etc).

M1 Star™ EBG/MBG with Carbide Bar Inserts
The M1 Star™ includes Electronic (EBG) and Mechanical (MBG) bore gauges which have nosepiece with carbide-bar inserts. They are particularly suitable for automatic applications because carbide bars allow to increase the life of the plug gauge reducing the wear of the nosepiece and preventing chance of jamming caused by the presence of metallic chips or cinders.

The M1 Star™ product line now includes Electronic and Mechanical bore gauges able to measure internal diameters more than 300mm, together with setting rings if requested.
